Marnie Alton was born and raised in Canada. In 2005, after more than 10 years of performing as a professional dancer, singer, and actor, she moved to Los Angeles to work in film and television, but quickly fell in love with the world of fitness. Throughout her career, Marnie has worked hard to achieve top physical health, happiness, and fulfillment, so when her first American friend introduced her to the Bar Method workout, Marnie was excited to try a new workout style. She became a Bar Method instructor shortly thereafter, and has spent nearly nine years studying the body, various fitness techniques, and developing her own barre-style workout and teaching philosophy.
After almost a decade in the fitness industry, Marnie believes that feeling powerful and confident in your own skin is what it’s all about. She created Barre Belle as an effective way to achieve this goal.

We built most of what you’ll see in the space and if we couldn’t do it, we found expert craftsmen who could. Every detail has been lovingly thought through to create a welcoming, energizing, and inspiring environment. High ceilings, sexy lighting and a thumping sound system - Here you will look and feel like a rockstar.
Our studio floor is cork: offering comfortable barefoot movement. (Did you know that cork is anti-microbial, hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly?)
We provide the perfect environment for your workout experience: train hard, feel challenged and be a part of our community.
We’re located at 113 N. La Brea, in the hip new District La Brea between Beverly and 1st. The street is lined with fantastic restaurants and shops for you to peruse pre or post workout. There is even a parking lot adjacent to our building so you won’t have to stress about finding a spot.
